Using the Community Library
How to browse, adopt, and suggest edits to community dispositions created by other schools.
The Community Library is a shared collection of dispositions that other schools have created and submitted for community use. It's a good place to look before creating a disposition from scratch.
Browsing community dispositions:
- Go to Settings → Middah Library.
- Click the Community tab.
- Browse the available dispositions. Each card shows the name, family, definition, and observable indicators.
Activating a community disposition:
Community dispositions become available to activate at your next Year Rollover. You don't need to do anything special to use one — just select it during the Framework step of Year Rollover and it becomes part of your school's active set.
Suggesting edits:
If a community disposition is close to what you need but not quite right, you can suggest changes to its indicators or description.
- Click Suggest Edits on the disposition card.
- Make your proposed changes to the indicators or description.
- Submit — the Middah Map team will review your suggestion.
If approved, the updated version will be reflected in the community library. If not approved, you'll receive an email with feedback.
You cannot suggest changes to a disposition's name — that would make it a different disposition. If the name is wrong for your needs, consider creating your own in the My School tab instead.
